rocksmith usb guitar adapter device cannot start

My tone cable works perfectly on my laptop computer which has USB 2.0 port and is on windows 8. I don't know if the new rocksmith 2014 remastered update fk my set up but I am starting to get pis_sed off here. For a while this worked I was able to trick the the tone cable but now nothing works. I had to get a USB 2.0 four port hub and plug it into one of my USB ports on the back of my desktop computer which runs USB 3.0 ports. If you unplug the tone cable from the usb port and plug it back it the tone cable with reboot back up and for about 30 seconds it will work fine then it breaks and you get error code 10.
